Which education systems are efficient? What can be learned from the educational policies of other countries?
The current edition of the report enables every country to look at its own system in relation to that of other countries: OECD indicators compare the educational levels and conditions for education of the OECD countries with one another. They record who is involved in the education system, what sort of money is spent, how education systems work and what results are achieved. The report presents comprehensive statistics on subjects ranging from students’ academic performance in key school subjects, the link between school-leaving certificates and later incomes, to the money spent on education and the working conditions of teachers.
