Megan McKean is an Australian designer, illustrator and author with permanently itchy feet. Her work is focused primarily on travel and depicting colourful cities around the world. Megan's illustrations are characterised by their bright colours, strong line work and surprising details hidden within each piece, encouraging the viewer to go back for another look. She is the author and illustrator of Lucky, published by Hardie Grant Books (2025). She is based in Malmö, Sweden, and Unlucky is her 13th book!
