The newly updated Fourth Edition of CONSTRUCTION JOBSITE MANAGEMENT examines all facets of construction project management from the contractor’s point of view. The responsibilities of project managers, construction superintendents, and construction engineers are covered in depth, from configuring a project team through closing out a project. The text maintains a strong focus on jobsite personnel activities, outlining proven procedures and offering helpful techniques to manage projects effectively from start to finish. Clear, concise language and accurate, relevant detail make this book an essential introduction to the "real world" of construction jobsite management.

William R. Mincks is a Certified Professional Constructor (AIC), as well as a member of the AACE International. He has taught construction management at Washington State University, South Dakota University and Boise State University. He is experienced in many areas of construction and consults on project management, construction quality management and housing issues. Hal Johnston has been a past Certified Professional Estimator (ASPE) for 30 years and is a licensed (inactive) general contractor in the State of California. He is a Professor Emeritus of Construction Management at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California, and was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Construction Management and Economics, Civil Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT) for a number of years and continues to teach in the department as an outside lecturer.
