One of the earliest, most respected creators of tarot cards in the Marseilles pattern. In the early 1760s in his workshop in Paris he made woodcuts of each card, engraved, stencilled and distributed limited editions of the finished sets. Designed and developed at Flame Tree Publishing, independent publisher and creator of fine, illustrated books, journals, notebooks, jigsaw puzzles and art calendars.
