Autor

Edwin M. Martin served in the U.S. Department of State from 1945 to 1974. Prior to his key role in the 1974 World Food Conference, he was chairman of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) in Paris, assistant secretary of state for economic affairs and for Latin American affairs, and ambassador to Argentina.
