He worked for six years as art director for Surfer Magazine in Orange County. He currently lives in San Francisco where he freelances as a designer and works as a sign painter for the New Bohemia Sign shop. His unique artwork mixes collage with hand-painted (often self-designed) typography, and he has had exhibitions throughout the US and abroad in Australia, France, Japan, and the Netherlands.
