MARA BENETTI is a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College and at Goldsmith's College, University of London, UK. Mara has taught and researched in different parts of the world and she collaborated with the BBC as a language adviser for one of their courses. CARMELA MURTAS was Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster and an Italian teacher trainer at International House, London, UK. She has extensive experience teaching Italian to foreigners at both private and tertiary level in the UK. CATERINA VARCHETTA was Italian Coordinator at the London Metropolitan University, UK, where she also taught Italian on the IWL Programme. She has a wealth of experience teaching Italian as a foreign language at further and tertiary level in the UK. ROBERTO DI NAPOLI is Associate Professor in Higher Education at the Centre for Research and Practice in Higher Education at Kingston University London, where he is Director of Academic Programmes. He has worked in many institutions including Imperial College London, Goldsmiths, the University of Surrey and the University of Westminster. Before specialising in Higher Education Studies, Roberto taught languages, applied linguistics and intercultural education for many years.
