Assure children that they are loved, worthy, and cherished with this lyrical picture book that celebrates the ways nature displays the depth of God's love. From each sunrise's declaration of hope to the wind's song of wonder and the mountains' echoes, love is woven into the natural world.

With What If the World Is a Letter?, children will understand

nature is an expression of God's love for each of us;
they are treasured, and they belong in this beautiful world;
we are part of something bigger than ourselves, and each child matters; and
the Creator's love is stronger than any storm they may face.

This book is perfect for

gifts for special occasions, such as Valentine's Day, birthdays, christenings, and baby showers and dedications;
reassuring children experiencing difficult circumstances that they are not alone;
helping young children begin to grasp the power of love; and
calming anxious hearts at nap time and bedtime.

Hilary Echols writes poems, chapter books, and picture books for children. Her poetry was featured in the anthology Friends and Anemones: Ocean Poems for Children. After studying English and elementary education in college, she spent a season in the classroom and eventually homeschooled her own children for eight years. She currently lives and writes in Virginia with her husband, kids, and a chocolate lab named Bear. When she is not writing, she can be found near the water with her family, preferably in coastal New England or North Carolina. Vu Thuy Ngoc Ha (a.k.a., Dom Dom) is an illustrator and author living in Vietnam. She focuses on illustration and picture books. Her artwork is inspired by the fantasy worlds in her mind and the folktales her mother told her. Ha believes that the imagination of a child is the greatest miracle in this world and that the world of children is a world we share in too. Her greatest desire is to create picture books for children, and she hopes these books will remind all grown-ups that they were once children. Her first book The Girl on the Roof and the Boy on the Beach won the 2019 Scholastic Picture Book Award. Currently, she is continuing on her path as a children's book illustrator, and she has never stopped believing in the miracle of imagination.
