Autor

Kayla Benzakour Neris was born and raised in Fez, Morocco. Schooled and educated in the United States, she only came to be a writer after many years working closely and doing research with several French and American colleagues and college professors with whom she learned the ropes of publishing, literary criticism and the craft of teaching. Kayla holds an MSPCII American Professional Certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education with focus on foreign language acquisition and ESL. She also has a Doctorate from the University of Connecticut in French Language and Literature. She is the author of two French textbooks 2021-2023 both published in Brazil: Didactique du Roman, Théâtre, Poésie, Histoire et Grammaire. Textes et Extraits. Vol.3, July 2021 and Didactique par genres littéraires, Grammaire, Vocabulaire, Histoire et Dialogues. Vol 2, January 2023. She is an active literary critic and teaching staff in Secondary Schools and Universities in São Paulo since 2004. This is her first contribution to game-based teaching and methods in the form of a grammar book, The English Sentence Builder and Grammar Cubes Puzzle Book, November 2023. She is also a member of several professional associations Abrale, Braz-Tesol & Apfesp.
