This series of 3 CD ROMS will help to implement the Oral and Mental Starters required by the Framework for Teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 in an interactive way. There is an interactive activity for every lesson, each referenced to the planing charts in the Framework and each with information for teachers relating to the way in which the starter has been designed to work, and in relation to how best to use the activities on a whiteboard or data projector. The material will easily blend into an existing scheme of work, and can be used alongside any Key Stage 3 course. The CD ROMs are packed with stimulating activities and animations to engage the pupils' interest and ensure that each lesson gets off to a truly interactive start. There are also lesson plans and worksheets, which accompany each of the interactive starters and can be adapted where necessary. Guidance on differentiation and answers are given in the starter-specific teacher notes.
