Each chapter approaches an element of the teaching of English from theoretical and practical perspectives where the reader gets an opportunity to reflect upon practice through theoretically-informed lenses.The book assists teachers in knitting together theory and practice in the English classroom. Kevin Cahill is a Lecturer in Education and Co-Director of the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs in the School of Education, University College Cork. Niamh Dennehy is a Lecturer in Education and Deputy Director of the Postgraduate Master of Education (PME) in the School of Education, University College Cork.
