Sy het al ’n paar toekennings gekry vir haar werk (twee ATKV Woordveertjies asook ’n Exclusive Books/IBBY SA 2017 toekenning). Sy’s dankbaar vir die pryse, maar selfs meer dankbaar dat sy al saam met wonderlike skrywers soos Jaco Jacobs, Marita van der Vyver en Fanie Viljoen kon werk.
