This testbook contains twenty 20 minute tests covering CEM style verbal reasoning questions. The tests give practice in the techniques in the 11+ Verbal Reasoning CEM Style workbooks. Each test contains a multiple-choice comprehension and two or three of the following: cloze passages, synonyms, antonyms, word links, shuffled sentences, odd one out.
Each test should take about 20 minutes, however it is more important that a child completes the test accurately and does not rush their answers. Children will speed up naturally with practice.
The testbook provides practice for the CEM 11+ exams. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the 11+ Verbal Reasoning CEM Style workbooks as an additional learning tool. After completion, the testpacks should be used for final exam preparation.
Answers, Progress Charts and a Certificate of Achievement are included at the end of the book.
All our materials have been rigorously classroom tested. The methodologies have been successfully used in AE Tuition classes for over 20 years.
