David Sherrin is the Social Studies Department Chair, Master Teacher, Pedagogical Coach, and Open Honors Coordinator at Harvest Collegiate High School in NYC. .He was named one of ten initial New York City Master Teachers for 2014-2015 and won the 2014 Robert H. Jackson Center National Award for Teaching Justice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Georgetown University, a master’s degree in education from SUNY Empire State College, and a master’s degree in history at Brooklyn College.
