Tobor the Robot plays host to elementary school-age children in this easy-to-use workbook dealing with technology. Designed to promote technological literacy in K-6 classrooms, this guide is a resource for teachers who are trying to integrate technology into the elementary curriculum. The 27 technology learning activities (TLAs) are fun, appropriate for individual or group work, and have been designed to highlight areas of interest to the student, connect to the established national technology content standards, and be integrated into the existing curricula as a companion to such subjects as math, science, language arts, and history. In addition, it also includes evaluation pages for students that help them through the process of solving a problem. Whether used as stand-alone exercises or as part of the regular curriculum, these activities will encourage broad-ranged technological problem-solving skills in young people. The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a non-profit national education organization dedicated to promoting technology and leadership skills in elementary, middle, and high school students. In addition to young people, TSA also serves a population of educators, parents and business leaders who believe in the importance of a technologically literate society and work toward that goal. TSA strives to meet the education needs and challenges of all students in an increasingly and constantly changing technological world.
