Au Secours Extra is a set of photocopiable repromasters and an audio cassette for use with the Au Secours course. Like AU Secours, it assumes very little previous knowledge of French and is designed for 14+ pupils and for adults who need simple transactional grasp of the language. Au Secours is ideal for GCSE Basic and Standard Grade.
Building on the "Au Secours" French-language course by providing extra practice in repromaster form, with an audio-cassette and teacher's notes, this pack retains the pattern of discrete units. It includes activities particularly suitable for slow learners, such as crossword puzzles. For homework, all the vocabulary necessary for the reading and simple writing activities is listed at the bottom of the page, making it easy for teachers to leave out or cut out when they photocopy the page. The teacher's notes contain all the answers, a mark scheme and a grid relating all the activities to the National Curriculum Levels of Attainment.
