Since the publication of the last complete key to the subfamilies of the Braconidae - wasps - several papers on the phylogeny of the Braconidae have been published. This, as well as numerous new findings, resulted in a growing need for a completely revised and updated key to the subfamilies of the Braconidae of the world, as presented on this CD-ROM. To facilitate the use of the key, couplets which can be safely ignored for 99% of the specimens in ordinary samples have been asterisked. Apart from this well-illustrated key, the program also includes a newly developed multi-entry matrix key. All subfamilies are described and for every subfamily a set of drawings is given. Furthermore, the program includes a hyperlinked glossary, references, and extensive information on terminology and classification.
