This presentation of the exchange rates of 100 currencies from 1976 to 1989 is based on eight currencies including the US Dollar, British Pound Sterling and the Japanese Yen. A selection of these rates are reported on a weekly basis, others on a daily basis.
This is a presentation of the exchange rates of 100 currencies from 1976 to the end of 1989 which is updated each year. Searching is based on eight currencies - the US Dollar, British Pound Sterling, the Canadian Dollar, French Franc, Swiss Franc, West German Deutschmark, Italian Lira and the Japanese Yen - against the value of 99 other world currencies. Exchange rates presented are for each Friday of each year - 1976-1989. Beginning in 1990, in addition to the 100 exchange rates reported on a weekly basis, the cross rates for the eight major currencies will be reported on a daily basis. The database can be searched by date and/or currency and data can be downloaded in standard formats compatible with other software packages such as spreadsheets or wordprocessors. Equipment specifications: IBM PC/XT/AT or 100% compatible with minimum 512KB and one floppy disc drive or IBM/PS/2 and up or 100% compatible with minimum 512KB and one floppy disc drive. CD-ROM drive with PC or PS/2 interface.
