F. Calvin Parker was a member of the Southern Baptist Mission in Japan from 1951-1989. He is currently a professor in the Theology Department of Seinan Gakuin University. He is also the author of Jonathan Goble of Japan: Marine Missionary, Maverick (UPA, 1990.)
