This application seeks to strengthen learners' awareness of formal syntactic relationships in German, testing their knowledge of such relationships within the framework of accessible texts. It also teaches basic grammatical terminology in the language, so that classroom and personal study of German can be pursued in the language, with little or no recourse to English. The floppy disk requires and IBM PC or compatible, with Windows. This resource is part of the "GramDEF" series, which has been produced in association with the Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) Consortium, and is designed to meet the needs of language teachers and learners. Together, the TELL range aims to cover all aspects of conversation, grammar, phonetics, interpretation and translation. "GramDEF" is part of the TELL grammar strand.
