Indigenous wisdom to transform your home into an oasis of peace and connection by the co-author of The Seven Circles.

Ancestral Indigenous teachings for homekeeping are full of wellness knowledge that can transform our lives today, from basics of form and function to ancestral altars, entertaining, and custom touches that best reflect your values. In the modern world, people often disregard the true power of the home, ignoring its role in our self-care and healthcare. Indigenous teachings are uniquely positioned to reveal our homes as living, breathing structures which impact our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional sense of wellbeing.

Inspired by the endurance of this wisdom and the author’s personal experience applying it in her own home, a 1,700 square foot modern southwest outpost located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Reservation in Arizona, Sacred Spaces will help you transform your home into:

a hub for family connection and community building
a source of optimism and joy from the moment we wake up in the morning
a scene rich in stories about our heritage, ancestry, and values
supportive structure for good habits of moving more, reading more, sleeping better, eating healthier, and spending more time outside.

Tapping into a wellspring of ancestral knowledge and modern Indigenous expertise, Native Home empowers readers toward small changes that create major impact.
