Ian Cassel had never had a normal job, never worked for a big firm, and, sometimes struggles to even screw in a lightbulb. But give him a list of a thousand small stocks, and he can pick out the next
winners.
Stock Picker is part personal journey, part manifesto for financial independence, and part collection of lessons learned while chasing greatness in stock picking. You'll discover why investing is less about beating others, and more about buying freedom for yourself.
Through luck, failure, discipline, and reinvention, Cassell built a career, first as a full-time private investor, and now as a fund manager. His story proves you don’t need billions or Wall Street prestige, just enough capital, conviction, and patience to live life on your own terms.
Begin your journey to financial freedom now.
lan Cassel has been a stock picker for over 20 years with a focus on microcap stocks. He started as a teenager and in college made it a goal to become financially independent. At the age of 28, he became a full-time private investor supporting himself and his family on his own capital base. In 2011, he founded MicroCapClub.com, a global online community for experienced microcap investors to find new ideas, collaborate on due diligence, and network with peers. In 2018, lan founded Intelligent Fanatics Capital Management LLC, which works with high-net-worth families to provide them with intelligent exposure to the smallest public companies in the world. Ian has co-authored two books: Intelligent Fanatics Project: How Great Leaders Build Sustainable Businesses, Intelligent Fanatics: Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, and is the author of Stock Picker: The five skills that drive market-beating returns.
