100 Recipes for Bread Using a Bread Machine

Note: The heating instructions may vary depending on your bread machine model. It is always recommended to refer to the instruction manual that came with your bread machine for the most accurate instructions.

  1. Classic White Bread

Ingredients:

● 1 1/4 cups warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)
● 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
● 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
● 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
● 3 1/2 cups bread flour
● 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions:

● Make sure your bread machine is clean and ready for use.
● In the bread machine pan, add the warm water, vegetable oil, sugar, and salt. Stir gently to dissolve the sugar and salt.
● Add the bread flour to the pan. Make a small well in the center of the flour and add the active dry yeast into it. This will ensure that the yeast comes into contact with the liquid ingredients later.
● Place the pan into the bread machine and securely close the lid.
● Set the bread machine to the "Basic" or "White Bread" setting. If your machine has crust options, select your desired crust color (light, medium, or dark).
● Start the bread machine and let it work its magic! It will mix, knead, rise, and bake the bread for you.
● Once the bread machine completes the baking cycle, carefully remove the pan from the machine. Be cautious as it might be hot.
● Let the bread cool in the pan for about 5-10 minutes. Then, transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely. This will help prevent the bottom of the bread from becoming soggy.
● Once completely cooled, you can slice and enjoy your freshly baked Classic White Bread!

Heating instructions: If you prefer warm bread, you can heat individual slices in a toaster or place the whole loaf in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent over-browning.

  1. Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients:

● 1 1/4 cups warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)
● 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
● 3 tablespoons honey or molasses
● 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
● 3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
● 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions:

● Ensure that your bread machine is clean and ready to use.
● In the bread machine pan, add warm water, vegetable oil, honey or molasses, and salt. Stir gently to dissolve the honey/molasses and salt.
● Add the whole wheat flour to the pan. Create a small well in the center of the flour and add the active dry yeast into it.
● Place the pan into the bread machine and securely close the lid.
● Set the bread machine to the "Whole Wheat" or "Whole Grain" setting. If your machine has crust options, select your desired crust color.
● Start the bread machine and let it complete the entire cycle, including mixing, kneading, rising, and baking.
● Once the baking cycle is finished, carefully remove the bread pan from the machine. Take caution as it may be hot.
● Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 5-10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. This will prevent the bread from becoming soggy on the bottom.
● Once completely cooled, slice the Whole Wheat Bread and enjoy!

Heating instructions: If you prefer warm bread, you can heat individual slices in a toaster or warm the entire loaf in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes. Keep an eye on it to avoid excessive browning.

  1. Honey Oat Bread

Ingredients:

● 1 cup warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)
● 1/4 cup honey
● 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
● 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
● 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
● 2 3/4 cups bread flour
● 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions:

● Make sure your bread machine is clean and ready to use.
● In the bread machine pan, add the warm water, honey, softened butter, and salt. Stir gently to dissolve the honey and salt.
● Add the rolled oats to the pan and let them soak in the liquid for about 10 minutes. This helps soften the oats.
● Add the bread flour to the pan, covering the liquid and oats completely. Create a small well in the center of the flour and add the active dry yeast into it.
● Place the pan into the bread machine and securely close the lid.
● Set the bread machine to the "Basic" or "White Bread" setting. If your machine has crust options, select your desired crust color.

● Place the pan into the bread machine and securely close the lid.
