What are the positive effects of nature, exercise and a sense of coherence on humans? A possible interaction between these three factors is explored and explained using Antonovsky's concept of salutogenesis. The aim is to demonstrate the positive influence of exercise in nature on human psychological well-being and to find out what role a sense of coherence plays in this. At the end of the book, a project for strengthening children's resources is presented, which has salutogenic perspectives. The project aims to demonstrate the practical implementation of the interaction between exercise, nature and a sense of coherence and to establish that a step in this direction is indeed possible.

Lena Weiner, BSc: Studied sports and exercise science at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz with a focus on health and training therapy, studied psychology at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, trained as a florist, wellness instructor and fitness instructor.
