This book is aimed at basketball players serious about improving their game, as well as coaches looking to improve team play and incorporate new drills into their practices. It combines detailed instruction and practice drills to establish and reinforce the fundamentals of individual and team play. It covers essential topics such as basic positioning, moving without the ball, ballhandling, shooting, passing, perimeter moves, post moves, defence and rebounding. Krause is the director of men's basketball operations at Gonzaga University. He is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the chair of their National Research Committee. He is a member and past president of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Basketball Coaches Association and author of the Basketball Bible and the Basketball Resource Guide. Don Meyer is the head coach at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota and his son Jerry Meyer, a former assistant coach at Montgomery Bel Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, is the national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com.
