This book is the story of my life. I come from a wonderful loving family with humble beginnings. Life growing up was difficult for me when it came time for learning in school. I suffered from a learning disability which impacted on my ability to learn. As a result, I was misunderstood throughout my years in school, and I fell through the cracks. I felt I was dealt a bad hand with my educators. Thus, my years in school were not happy memories for me. However, throughout all the hardships in my life, I figured it all out by the age of thirty-five years old and got it going at the age of thirty-seven years old as I started to see the light shine in my life. I wrote this book to help others who are like me and those people I know that are worse off than me so that there is hope for you too to turn your life around!

As a thirty-nine-year-old adult, my inner light bulb in life went on at the age of thirty-seven. Yes, I was a late bloomer. I wrote this book to inspire people of all ages who have been confronted with obstacles in life stemming from their early childhood years through adulthood like I have. I had a difficult journey through my formidable years dealing with a learning disability which affected me throughout my years in school due to the negative experiences I had to deal with. However, through my experiences in Mixed Martial Arts, Weightlifting and reading about other successful people who started out poorly in life and faced similar obstacles like me, I was able to develop confidence in myself. As a result, I lifted myself up by my own bootstraps to become the successful man that I am today. If your story sounds like mine, my message to you through reading this book is you can too.
