This lavish, entertaining and uniquely visual nature book is exciting to read, up to date and comprehensive in its information.

A truly stunning book, full of fascinating facts and beautiful photos, showing a city we thought we knew in a new light.
Hidden within the hustle and bustle of Dublin city is a secret world of wildlife. From otters and kingfishers in the rivers to porpoises and jellyfish in the bay, and from peregrine falcons swooping above us to pyramidal orchids by the roadside, Wild Dublin explores the surprising natural wonders of our capital.

In her much-loved style, wildlife expert Éanna Ní Lamhna looks to the skies, parks, gardens, wetlands, rivers, canals and coastline to showcase Dublin’s biodiversity in all its glory.

Beautifully illustrated throughout with over two hundred photographs, drawings and maps.

Éanna Ní Lamhna is one of the best-known public figures in Ireland, in particular as a biologist, environmental and wildlife consultant, radio and television presenter, author and educator. Éanna has one of the most instantly recognisable voices on Irish radio and has been for many years a member of the panel of experts on RTÉ’s wildlife programme Mooney Goes Wild. She has served as president of the national environmental charity An Taisce and the Tree Council of Ireland. Originally from Louth, she now lives in Dublin. Éanna is the author of several popular wildlife books for readers young and not so young.
