A celebration of railtours as they travel around the British rail network and the locations that they visit.
In recent years railtours have become a staple part of railway operations in the UK. With a large assortment of both locomotives and coaching stock that date as far back as the pre-privatisation days of British Railways, there is always something of interest for everyone. Over the years a large variety of destinations on the UK rail network or connections onto preserved railways have allowed travellers to spend the day visiting both new places and old haunts on either loco-hauled trains or units that are not seen in regular use today.
Through a vivid selection of previously unpublished images, this book celebrates an extensive and captivating range of railtours as they travel around the rail network as well as the locations that they visit.
