Editor and author Moira C. Harris has been involved with horses for nearly 30 years. As editor of Horse Illustrated for more than a decade, the magazine has become the largest equine publication in America under her guidance. She has written five books and has contributed to other equine publications. A lifelong horsewoman, Harris has ridden in various disciplines and today competes in showjumping competitions with her Irish Thoroughbred, Ballymena.
