Paper Weaving Journey is for readers of all levels, whether they are an experienced crafter or just beginning. Readers are guided through thirty projects and techniques with a special focus on developing a daily practice. Each reader's journey will be unique and personal, responding to prompts and thoughtful questions designed to help them find their own creative path. Inspiring profiles and stories run throughout the book, highlighting the daily practices and weavings of students from Hiebert's Weave Through Winter course as well as contemporary paper weaving artists.

The book will focus on creating personal meaning and emphasize the benefits of a daily creative practice. Each of the thirty projects will include a prompt, a technique, step-by-step instruction, and an example of the project. Inspirational quotes and meditations will run throughout. The book will also highlight repurposing, recycling, and reusing papers that people might already have, like maps, postcards, holiday cards, or journals. Paper Weaving Journey combines fiber arts and paper craft, two art forms that continue to gain in popularity. Weaving with paper is accessible, it does not require specialized equipment like a loom.
