Michael Bright is a freelance author and scriptwriter and was previously an executive producer with the BBC natural history unit. He was a recipient of the prestigious Prix Italia for the program Men, Nations and Whales: Will the Bloody Story Ever End? He is the author of over 140 books on natural history, natural sciences, conservation, and the environment, including many on sharks.
