Sports journalism reporting has undergone a transformation in recent years. More and more aspects are shifting to online media and therefore also to social networks. On the one hand, this inevitably creates new opportunities for sports journalists, but on the other hand, it also leads to changes in everyday working life that can pose challenges for media professionals. This master's thesis shows which everyday changes occur in cross-media companies and how sports journalists perceive them.Narrative-biographical interviews with people from two large German-language media companies show that changes occur in various areas of everyday working life. More work, a mix with private life and the struggle for exclusivity and fast reporting are just some of the most important findings in this context.
