The Høgruta in Jotunheimen is an alpine long-distance ski trip through the very heart of the most alpine mountain area in Norway. As Norway's answer to the "Haute route", this tour runs in five day stages from Bessheim/Gjendesheim via Memurubu, Glitterheim, Spiterstulen, Leirvassbu to Krossbu.

Høgruta Jotunheimen goes over the most beautiful mountain passes and some of the highest peaks in Scandinavia. This alpine map on a scale of 1:25,000 has the terrain information based on laser scanning from aircraft.

The map describes Jotunheimen in great detail, and creates good conditions for alpine summit tours. The "original" Høgruta from 2014 is drawn on the map, as are various alternatives that are often used.
