This research set out to investigate the following problem: how can the transformations that took place between 2009 and 2014, in terms of infrastructure and functionality, at the Joaquim Américo Guimarães Stadium, influence the ways in which it is appropriated as a leisure and sports facility in the city of Curitiba? Since, based on the possible answers found, we will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the "Arena da Baixada" soccer stadium as an important component of the city.
Master's degree in Physical Education in the Sport, Leisure and Society research line of the Postgraduate Program in Physical Education at the Federal University of Paraná (2015). BA (2013) and BSc (2015) in Physical Education from the Federal University of Paraná. Collaborating Professor of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education at UNIOESTE.
