Following the overwhelming success of The Sīrah of the Prophet: A Contemporary and Original Analysis, this book is an adaptation of the lives of his closest Companions. It is an inspiring account of the greatest generation and a testament to the capability of mankind. It is, however, a realistic and accurate portrayal of their lives, including their imperfections and humanness. In doing so, this book hopes to inspire readers to emulate the noble Companions, who represent the best of a flawed creation.

Dr Salah Sharief completed a PhD in Law from the University of Leeds while studying Islam under the tutelage of Dr Akram Nadwi. He then relocated to Egypt to pursue Islamic studies full-time. Salah is also an entrepreneur and writer, founding Wordsmiths, an editing and translation company.
