This text includes the configuration of administrative processes that promote the initiation and training of sports in rural contexts, and how, from an organisational perspective, it can be positioned and developed in the sporting and educational sphere, specifically for a municipal sports body. This study allows contributions aimed at the planning of a municipal model of sports initiation and training centres with the empowerment of the qualification of the human talent available, creating an educational project with a biopsychosocial sense in the implementation of the sports initiation and training centres, the identification of necessary improvements in the physical infrastructure and access to it for its adequate use and the financial resources to guarantee its permanence over time. Finally, an outline is given of how to advance processes of institutionalisation and financing that ensure the permanence over time of the schools of initiation and sports training based on the formulation of municipal public policies and also with processes of permanent qualification of the personnel involved in them.
