The petroleum additives industry is an important operating sector in the global economy. Motor oils are a mixture of base oils and these additives. The importance of additives to lubricating oils lies in improving the performance of what the base oil can achieve on its own. This work aims to prepare some compounds and evaluate them to act as multifunctional lube oil additives.
Dr. Reham Elshazly is a doctor researcher at Petroleum Applictions Dept., Egyptian Petroleum Reseach Institute. She has good experience in organic chemistry and polymer chemistry. She is specialzed in the field of lubrication, synthetic lubricants and lube oil additives. Dr. Reham holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Ain Shams University
