This book presents an overview of the development and operational use of HNLMS Zuiderkruis with many photos and illustrations.

HNLMS Zuiderkruis (1975-2012) was the second Fast Combat Support Ship of the Royal Netherlands Navy. It was primarily intended for Replenishment At Sea, fueling task groups and NATO units. As a modern design Zuiderkruis enabled a “one stop replenishment” and also carried AVCAT, fresh water and spare parts. A helicopter deck facilitated vertical replenishment.

Jantinus Mulder started his career in the graphic industry and is currently a publisher at Lanasta (Walburg Pers). He is a specialist in the model building of naval ships. He builds models, and has written about model building in various (trade) magazines and books.
