A new theory of personality created by a clinical psychologist that shows you how to identify and counter your negative patterns learned in childhood and how to move beyond to find your true self
When faced with trauma at a young age, the coping styles we use determine how we relate to people and how we live our lives, well into adulthood. They become our fears and our habits, our familiar ruts, the limits to our personal and professional fulfilment. They impact every decision we make and inform the stories that we tell about ourselves. They prevent us from becoming our true selves and finding fulfilment.
Free Yourself offers us a clear roadmap that navigates us out of our lifelong negative unconscious patterns - taking us through the 11 different coping styles and destructive behaviours we use throughout our childhood to get to the root of how they impact us and, more importantly, how to fix the damage they cause us. Dr Sam Rader will help us gain greater self-awareness, increase our confidence in who we are and help us figure out who we want to be through journaling prompts, dynamic mental, physical, relational and behavioural practices, and transformative case studies.
