Images are directly inspired by such classics as The Raven, Annabel Lee, The Masque of the Red Death, and many more while utilizing traditional Tarot archetypes. The Poe Tarot follows Poe as the main character, navigating through the Fool's journey while diving deep into the subconscious realms to unveil what only he can through the wisdom of his works and the teachings of the Tarot.

Trisha Leigh Shufelt is a self-taught artist from New England. ThePoe Tarot is her second full-length Tarot deck and combines her love of illustration with the literary works of Edgar Allan Poe. Her first deck, the HeARTful Spirtis Tarot, was the winner of two InternationalTarot Foundation CARTA Awards. Trisha is also a Reiki master and a breast cancer survivor. While she works in a variety of mediums andher art continues to evolve, it is her love of the Tarot that currently influences her creativity.
