Grace, her mother, and her best friend are driven to the ocean as the fires take over their homes. Grace is left homeless and poor as she waits for word of her husband. She soon finds that this great tragedy can also bring great joy.
The Stars Are Fire by Anita Shreve became a best seller for The New York Times in 2017. It has been called 'masterful' by USA Today, and 'evocative' by People.
