Velda Newman is a contemporary fibre artist whose nature-inspired designs have been exhibited extensively in the U.S A., Europe, and Japan. One of her quilts was named to the list of the "20th Century's 100 Best American Quilts." Velda lives in Nevada CityCalifornia.
