Ron Brown (OBE) had over 50 years' experience of keeping bees, both in Britain and central Africa. A former editor of the monthly journal Beekeeping, he travelled all over the world to give lectures on specialist beekeeping topics and regularly lectured on beekeeping throughout the UK.
