The book also covers the work of the Leeds military hospitals, the Barnbow Munitions disaster, RAF Yeadon (LeedsBradford Airport), the blitz of 1941, 609 Squadron, Yeadon Lancaster factory, Leeds as a garrison city and current military research in Leeds.
