My introduction to feltmaking, was during my training as a shepherd, later I was educated as a textile designer from the Design School in Copenhagen.My inspiration I draw from nature and the dialogue with the material. Quite early I was deeply passionate about this technique and all the expressive possibilities this wonderful wool material provides. I have through all the years been fascinated by finding new expressions and techniques, as well as developing materials for felting such as needle felt for felting.I have worked with textile art and applied art since the late 70s.
