Gabriel Gaté is a French-born and trained chef with an international reputation as a cookery author, television presenter and cookery teacher. On Bastille Day 2000 Gabriel was honoured by the French government with ‘La Croix de Chevalier dans l’Ordre du Merite Agricole’ for his contribution to French gastronomy.
