Electronic systems in windows, doors and facades
The use of electronics and electro-mechanics is a key element in meeting increasingly tougher requirements in building construction in the following areas:
Energy conservation,
Comfort,
Safety/security,
Barrier-free building and accommodation suitable for the elderly.
These cannot be fully met without such important functional elements of the building envelope as windows, external doors and facades. For the implementation it is necessary that these building components communicate with the other components of the TGA (technical building services) such as electrical installations, heating etc., and that these are all integrated into one overall concept.
