Features 365 unique entries for those in recovery from chronic pain and co-occurring addiction. Meditations address both pain recovery and addiction recovery with an eye to developing the reader's “four points of balance.”
Based on the ideas and discoveries presented in A Day without Pain and Pain Recovery: How to Find Balance and Reduce Suffering from Chronic Pain (Central Recovery Press, 2008, 2009), Pain Recovery Meditations provides 365 unique entries for those in recovery from chronic pain and co-occurring addiction. Entries address both pain recovery and addiction recovery with an eye to developing the reader's "four points of balance"-physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional-with accompanying meditations for each day of the year. A holistic approach makes this a perfect companion piece to CRP's other Pain Recovery titles.
This companion volume to Pain Recovery: How to Find Balance and Reduce Suffering from Chronic Pain and A Day without Pain from Central Recovery Press addresses the special problems faced by readers struggling not only with chronic pain, but with either pre-existing or co-occurring addiction to pain medications. Chock-full of insightful meditations that encourage spiritual healing while addressing the unique needs of those with chronic pain and addiction, Pain Recovery Meditations is a must-have for persons seeking an alternative, opioid-free approach to the challenge of living in chronic pain as they embrace the life-enhancing principles of pain recovery.
