The extension featured a single toolbar button that dynamically generated the URL of the scoreboard at NBA.com using the system date of the user's computer. Thus, irrespective of the timezone, the scoreboard for the current day's games loaded correctly. The feature list grew steadily during the 2006-07 NBA season and stabilised at v1.45. For subsequent NBA seasons, the addon name incorporated the current NBA season, and NBA Scoreboard 2008, 2009 and 2010 followed. The current version is NBA Scoreboard 2010 v3.10.4.
