Hiroki Harada is a critically acclaimed photographer from Tokyo, Japan. He grew up in a bustling shopping district in Tokyo, where numerous small stores stand side by side and many people live. These childhood memories influence his work in which he focuses on the “beauty” created by the light of the place, such as the time of day, the weather, and the neon lights of the city. His concept of photography is “to capture the light and shadows of a never-to-be-repeated moment and occasion.”
